USMLE Preparation: helping students access US medical specialties

From聽May 29th聽to June 1st, 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University聽held its聽first peer-to-peer, hands-on workshop designed for medical students聽who are interested in going to the United States for聽their medical residencies and eventually work as physicians in that country.听

Access to medical specializations in the US (residencies and fellowships) is in fact regulated by the challenging聽US Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).听

Futhermore, 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University prepares its students for the USMLE, by providing a聽curriculum in line with the requested educational standards and collaborating with the US National Board of Medical Examiners聽(NBME庐).

1st USMLE Examination Preparation Seminar

麻豆传媒AV在线看 USMLE Preparation Seminar was held by C.听Gabbi MD, PhD, Specialist in Internal Medicine, and N.听Sweed, MD.

It began with an introduction into the Medical Education in the US and an overview of the USMLE examination, including the registration process, the exam structure and the scoring system. The seminar also covered necessary resources and study plans creating an optimum 迟别蝉迟听蝉迟谤补迟别驳测 suited for each student.

Good part聽of the course was dedicated to聽practical training for both the hands-on and聽the computer based tests.听At the end of each day, one-to-one sessions were foreseen, in which聽participants had the great opportunity to meet with advisors and get a better idea of what to expect.

Instructors concluded by covering topics relevant to the day of the exam and how聽to apply to residencies or fellowships in the US.
