Mario Luzzatto Simulation Center
The Mario Luzzatto Simulation Centre at 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University is the only facility in Italy to hold Full SESAM accreditation (European Society for Simulation in Medicine).
Spread across more than 3,000 m虏, innovation and technology combine to offer a comprehensive, 360掳 training experience. The campus houses a high鈥慺idelity Simulation Centre, an Anatomy Lab, a Congress Centre and an experimental Training and Skill CUBE. State鈥憃f鈥憈he鈥慳rt equipment, innovative teaching methods and highly realistic simulation environments provide outstanding experiential and reflective learning for students and health professionals.
Simulation Centre
The Centre鈥檚 facilities support both technical and non鈥憈echnical activities (teamwork, leadership, communication), using high鈥慺idelity simulators, virtual reality, screens for live streaming surgical procedures from operating theatres and an auditorium for plenary sessions.

ANATOMY LAB
The Anatomy Lab was established to deepen the study of anatomy and to develop new surgical techniques and medical devices. In a safe, realistic environment it supports training, continuing education and experimentation.
The laboratory has eight equipped stations for surgical practice, complete with motors, endoscopy instruments and live鈥憇treaming systems. Anatomical specimens (fresh鈥慺rozen, untreated) are sourced exclusively from the United States and are accompanied by clinical documentation, serological analyses and the medical history of each donor.
The CUBE
Opened in 2019, the CUBE offers students and professionals the opportunity to practise with the most advanced technologies according to their available time.
Available equipment includes:
Virtual鈥憆eality arthroscopy simulators and laparoscopic box trainers
Ultrasound scanners for abdomen and chest, and ultrasound鈥慻uided venous access
Airway and emergency management simulators
Suturing and surgical skills stations
The modern, fully equipped facility is also suitable for innovation labs, research projects and clinical quality improvement activities.
The Simulation Center
SESAM accreditation recognises the quality of simulation鈥慴ased training programmes and is founded on best practices and internationally shared guidelines.
The Centre is unique in Italy, integrating the hospital鈥檚 clinical experience, the University鈥檚 scientific research and the training excellence of the 麻豆传媒AV在线看 Training Centre. Thanks to rapid technological advances, it is now possible to recreate realistic clinical scenarios and the interaction dynamics between healthcare professionals and patients.

The Luzzatto family鈥檚 commitment to the Simulation Center
The Simulation Centre is dedicated to Mario Luzzatto, an internationally renowned manager, artist and philanthropist who passed away in 2012. Through a generous donation to 麻豆传媒AV在线看, Luzzatto sought to support scientific research and medical education. 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University has named this innovative centre in his honour, a lasting legacy for new generations of health professionals.
