Student elections are a fundamental moment of participation in university life. Through voting and candidacy, students actively contribute to the proper functioning of the university, bringing their perspectives into institutional bodies and quality assurance processes.

Who can run for office and who can vote

Active voters

Eligible to vote for the election of representatives are:

Members of the Board of Directors, Academic Senate, and Student Council: all students enrolled at 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University degree programmes.

Paritetic Committee of Professors and Students (CPDS):
- For Medicine and Surgery 鈫� students enrolled in the Medicine and Surgery degree programme
- For MEDTEC School 鈫� students enrolled in the MEDTEC degree
- For Nursing 鈫� students enrolled in the Nursing degree
- For Physiotherapy 鈫� students enrolled in the Physiotherapy degree
- For Biomedical Laboratory Techniques 鈫� students enrolled in the Laboratory Techniques degree
- For Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques 鈫� students enrolled in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy degree
- For Nursing and Obstetrics Sciences 鈫� students enrolled in the Master鈥檚 in Nursing and Obstetrics

Passive voters

Members of the Board of Directors, Academic Senate, and Student Council: enrolled students who are up to date with their exams at the time of the election announcement.

Paritetic Committee of Professors and Students (CPDS): The same requirements apply as for voters, but only for students who are up to date with their exams at the time of the announcement.

Limitations

Students who are suspended or subject to disciplinary or legal proceedings cannot vote or stand for election.
Students who have already held the same position for two consecutive terms are not eligible to run.

Student Representative Elections

As specified in the Regulations for the Elections of Student Representatives in University Bodies, the term of office is two years and is renewable once.

On 11 and 12 December 2023, elections were held for Student Representatives for the relevant collegial bodies.

On 16 and 17 March 2023, elections took place for the Student Representative of Nursing at the Bergamo campus, for members of the Parity Committee of Professors and Students.

2022

On 20 and 21 October 2022, elections were held for Student Representatives for the following bodies: Board of Directors, Academic Senate, Parity Committee of Professors and Students for Medicine and Surgery, MEDTEC School, and Nursing at the Pieve Emanuele campus.

On 10 and 11 March 2022, elections were held for Student Representatives for the Parity Committee of Professors and Students in Physiotherapy, Castellanza Nursing, and Master鈥檚 in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences.

2021

On 15 February 2021, elections took place for the Student Representative of Nursing at the Bergamo campus, for members of the Parity Committee of Professors and Students.

2020

On 26 and 27 October 2020, elections were held for Student Representatives for the Parity Committee of Professors and Students, Board of Directors, Academic Senate, and Student Council 鈥� Medicine, MEDTEC School, Nursing at Pieve Emanuele, and Physiotherapy.

Elections of the Faculty Representatives in the Governing Bodies

The University regulations provide for the elections for the following Teachers鈥� Representatives:

Among the elected members of the Board of Directors, 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University鈥檚 Statute provides for a representative of the Full time Professors working at the University. The representative of the Full time Professors in the Board of Directors remains in office for three consecutive years and can be re-elected. – Entitled to run for the elections: full and associate Professors working at the University at the time of the elections, who are not in a position of incompatibility and are not members of the Board of Directors by right. – Entitled to vote: full Professors and Researchers as well as Professors and Researchers on fixed-term contracts, according聽 respectively to Art. 1, paragraph 12 of the Law 230/2005 and Art. 24, paragraph 3 of the Law 240/2010, have the right to vote. *Representative of the Full Professors聽currently elected to the Board of Directors:聽Prof. Carmelo Carlo-Stella
