麻豆传媒AV在线看 University, in line with its mission as a university dedicated to the Life Sciences, complements its Education (First Mission) and Scientific Research (Second Mission) with a equally strategic Social Responsibility (Third Mission): contributing to the improvement of people’s lives through health, by promoting health awareness at all levels.
The Third Mission is a deep activity of knowledge enhancement involving students, Faculty, and staff as a unified community, integrating seamlessly with education, research, and clinical activities.
It is realised through initiatives, projects, and collaborations that promote the dissemination of knowledge, dialogue with civil society, and social, environmental, cultural, and economic impact, in a spirit of shared responsibility.
Objectives
TRAIN
To train professionals of high caliber not only in their professional skills but also in their human qualities, with a strong sense of social responsibility.
DEVELOP
To help develop a widespread 鈥渃ulture of health鈥� within the population by seizing every opportunity to disseminate knowledge and discoveries, and by creating specific projects targeted at key populations.
AWARENESS
To raise awareness among young generations about studying scientific and STEM fields and foster passion for health professions.
Areas of Intervention
- Knowledge dissemination: public events, cultural and scientific festivals.
- Enhancement of Faculty activities oriented towards public engagement.
- Projects for schools: orientation and pathways for careers in health and STEM.
- Territorial initiatives to promote health and sustainability.
- Partnerships with brands and companies for prevention and scientific outreach.
Activities are coordinated by a dedicated Working Group led by the Delegate for the Third Mission, Prof. Stefano Aliberti, who promotes each initiative in synergy with institutions, schools, local authorities, and businesses, in a continuous improvement approach.
