The Virgilio Program is an innovative pre-graduate training program聽in biomedical research, open to 3rdyear medical students only, attending 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University, Universit脿 degli Studi di Milano and Universit脿 degli Studi Milano Bicocca. The project is funded by聽Fondazione Cariplo聽and coordinated by Universit脿 degli Studi Milano Bicocca.
At the end of the program, medical students will develop a聽deep understanding聽of the聽link between basic research听补苍诲听clinical research,聽and they will be able to combine聽patient care聽with聽biomedical research.
Taught entirely in English, the program is intended for a selected number of students, who will integrate their curriculum with inter-disciplinary seminars and internship activities in research laboratories for the next three years.
In particular, the program allows students to聽gain 60 additional university credits聽through seminars, courses and laboratory activities. A聽team of mentors听补苍诲听tutors聽will support the students in all their activities, including the preparation of their thesis and laboratory activities. Students will also be able to carry out research activities to complete their experimental thesis in any of the three partner universities.
