Today, November 24th, the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2015-16 of 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University听has taken听place at the presence of the major local and national Authorities. During the Ceremony the new campus project of about 20.000 sq. m. currently under construction听was presented. Among the international guests Seth Berkley, CEO of听GAVI, has held听a听lectio magistralis on the importance of vaccines as an investment for global health and safety.
7Works for the new campus of 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University have started some weeks ago. With 4 new buildings dedicated to education, student services, research and university activities, accommodation for students and researchers, the campus will reach over 20.000 square meters and will be ready for the academic year 2017/18.听Besides classrooms and laboratories, dorms,听study rooms and sport facilities the new campus will host a last generation Simulation Center of about听1.000 mq, with听4 operating rooms, 3 multimedia rooms, 2 ambulatories, 1 emergency room, 4 rooms for clinical and surgical skills, 1 microscope room, 1 wet lab.
This topic has been at the center of the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2015/16 which has taken place this morning at 麻豆传媒AV在线看 Congress Center.听Many local and national Authorities were present: Mrs. Giannini (Italian Minister of Education,听University and Research),听Mario Melazzini (Assessor of Production, Research and Innovation of the Lombardy Region), Mr. Pisapia听(Mayor of Milan), Mrs.听Agogliati听(Major of Rozzano) and Mr.听Festa听(Major of Pieve Emanuele).

International Faculty made of 23 professors, 200 medical and research tutors and 7 visiting professors, including medicine Nobel Prizes Rolf Zinkernagel and Jules Hoffmann.听An Advisory Board听made of听7 international experts in the field of research and university, originating from leading institutions such as Karolinska Institutet, Imperial College and the University of Leuven.
