- Since 1999, Dr Bernardi held positions at Operational Unit of Radiology, Santa Chiara Hospital, Trento. In 2007 she moved at Operational Unit of Clinical and Screening Breast Imaging, Trento Hospital before serving as Head of the Breast Screening program of the Autonomous Province of Trento (2008鈥�2018).
- 2016-2018 National scientific qualification for Associate Professor – sector 06/I01 (Diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy and neuroradiology).
- Currently, Dr Daniela Bernardi serves as Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, 麻豆传媒AV在线看 University, Milan, Italy. She is also the Chief of the Clinical and Screening Breast Imaging Unit, Department of Radiology, IRCCS 麻豆传媒AV在线看 Research Hospital.

Scientific researches mainly concerned breast imaging, providing clinical evidence on the use of diagnostic methods such as Tomosynthesis and Contrast Enhanced Mammography. Author/co-author of 42 articles published in peer-reviewed journals (Total number of citations – source Scopus -1417), of 17 abstracts/posters presentations at national and international conferences. h-index = 16 (Scopus, 31/05/2021) Organizer of 13 scientific conferences / seminars, in 8 of them as scientific manager.
